Virtrio Mobile ("the app") is the attendee companion app for events hosted on the Virtrio virtual events platform, operated by Virtrio Consulting Limited ("Virtrio", "we", "us"), a company registered in the United Kingdom. This policy explains what personal data the app collects, why, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.
Virtrio is a multi-tenant platform: events are run by independent event organisers and their partner organisations ("Organisers"). When you register for an event, the Organiser of that event is the data controller for your registration and participation data, and Virtrio processes that data on their behalf to deliver the event experience. Virtrio is the data controller for the operation of the platform itself (for example account security, crash diagnostics and service logs).

Data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Sign-in credentials on your device are stored in the operating system's secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). Access to production systems is restricted and tenant data is logically isolated per organisation.
Registration and engagement data is retained for the lifetime of the event and the Organiser's account, and is deleted or anonymised when the Organiser removes it or closes their account. Sign-in session records are removed when they expire or when you sign out. Crash and diagnostic data is retained for up to 90 days.
Depending on where you live (including under UK and EU GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. For data held about your participation in a specific event, you can also contact the event Organiser directly. Virtrio Mobile is intended for business event attendees and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
If we make material changes to this policy we will update this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app and ask you to review the updated policy at your next sign-in.
